the manga is like a giant filler in itself... the writer is really dragging this shit on faaaaaaaarr too long and then there are the 1-2week vacations -_-

Yes, it sure is dragging on. I don't even watch the anime anymore. I just read the manga, it's been getting kinda boring.

One Piece however has been very good!

holy i havent been up to date with naruto in years :lol, was disappointed with the itachi vs sasuke fight doe.. itachi should had been better IMO

I watched ep329 like 4 times.. haha while manga is good, the music/sound effects just brings it to a whole new level..

I think I'm the odd one out. I wasn't wowed at all by 329. It was one of the better episodes in a long time but in terms of epic Naruto episodes go, it wasn't a memorable one.

I think the fact that we've had shitty ass episodes for months and months now, even an episode like this suddenly seemed epic. Just my 2 cents.

Agreed. When I read about the war in the Manga I couldn't wait until the anime version came out. So far it has been disappointing to say the least. The fights last barely an episode.

The Akatsuki fights were awesome. Long enough that made it epic but short enough that it didn't seem like dragon ball.

naruto the entire series seems like one big spirit bomb waiting to happen

Honestly, at this point I'm just watching for the sake of I've been following since the beginning but I've lost the excitement quite a while ago. Naruto the character himself has really started to annoy me.

Yeah, I'm only watching Naruto for the animation now. I usually wait a year, look up what fights finally happened and watch them all at once.

Some good ones in shippuden were:
Sasuke vs. Itachi
The frog sage dude vs. Akatsuki
Naruto vs. Pain
Some parts of the Ninja war

They are currently engaged in a battle with MADARA and Kabuto... so unless you somehow watched the entire 4th Great Ninja War or read the manga and know about this... USE THE FRICKEN SPOILER TAGS

Manga is officially bananas. I'm no the edge of my seat in anticipation to how it plays out.

I didn't like how this week's chapter ended
