Wasn't it mentioned she loved him previously?
Most likely Jiraiya will say something emotional that will catch her attention, and before Pain strikes the final blow, she intervenes.

I don't think she will save Jiraiya... I'm thinking it's Jiraiya's death that will make Naruto crazy good and control the nine tails inside, and whoop pain's ass. lol...
