when u have hot pot, u got to at least have lobster, those big long clams ( i forgot wut they are call) , shrimp. etc etc

shit... these are the worst kind of beef i've ever seen!!
they are like those packs that no one buys... not to mention they are so slim that takes ages to chew, and have these weird taste...

also, no chick, pork or any other meat!!

all there is is those damn tofu, lettuce, and chinese mushroom!!

i never ate such shit hotpot in my life!!!!!

and this is xmas dinner!!! fuck!!! last week i had hot pot at home also, but the food is so much better.
What an ungrateful bastard!

it's always nice to have traditions... chestnuts roasting over an open fire, sleighing through the slush-filled roads, gathering with friends and families... to laugh at this thread

gosh i love this thread...
speaking of which, i had hotpot today at my gf's place for lunch and it was great!..then I had a turkey/roast beef/lobster tail dinner at my cousins.

i hope your hot pot was great :D

I went to Shabusen for Christmas dinner - so I sorta was at a hotpot place for Christmas :D

How does Shabusen work? I heard they serve Japanese, Korean, and Hotpot for dinner. Do you get to have all 3? or do u only get to pick one? Also, which location do you recommend? do they accept reservations? thanks!
