Hyde posted this thread originally in the Food forum but after realizing he was being ridiculed, he tried to delete it. It was until ImpactX (moderator at the time) had made a duplicate of the original thread to preserve/archive it. It was later decided that because the original thread was so ridiculous, a duplicate was then added to VOT and to this day, the original thread is here in the Food Forum.

Chinese places usually open. Call ahead though for resos. I'd avoid going to western places since they will probably jack up prices since not many places are open. 2 years ago I went to Carver's Steakhouse and they only served at set menu which was overpriced and tasted like garbage

Oscar's Pub on Boundary and Hastings is open tomorrow if going to a bar on Christmas is your thing ;)

went to hotpot for the first time in years last week .. Nabebugyo on Cambie. soooo good.

I am allergic to shellfish, so I can't even imagine how a lobster hot pot tastes like. From what I hear, it's amazing.

I am allergic to nothing else, food wise. Better than being allergic to nuts and dairy products. I can't imagine not being able to eat a Dairy Queen Royal Blizzard or a Ferrero Rocher Rondnoir, lol.
