I kinda failed on my car since the white turned a diff colour cause of the sun and i'm really a noob at PS beyond the basic tools. I used this video tutorial and used the nasioc site as a reference and starting point after seeing how it looked so awesome. http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show....php?t=1151725 http://www.metacafe.com/watch/548966...asy_myls1_com/ |

My screen sucks. But yeah, i guess thats the result of lazy cloning. Haha |
Haha no worries. I think my screen isn't the best either. I can't see those spot on the screen at work and I'm pretty sure this one is calibrated. Maybe mine at home is too bright or something. |
a lot of the uncalibrated monitors are simply WAY too bright... |

^ got any tools to help calibrate monitors? |
The best way to calibrate a monitor is to buy a Spyder3, Eye One or similar device. Don't bother with the Adobe Gamma that's built in to Adobe software. It sucks. There is a free software called QuickGamma for Windows users that is better than Adobe Gamma, but it's still not as accurate as hardware based colour correction. http://www.softpedia.com/get/Tweak/V...ickGamma.shtml http://download.cnet.com/QuickGamma/...2_4-53184.html |
I didnt even think monitors needed to be calibrated. =/ shows how much i know. Haha anywhoo, took a picture of my friend's 350whp civic. Haha http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2737/...00965ee190.jpg |
