Senna4ever 05-05-2007 11:35 AM

He just crashed through the gates. It's a Hummer, dammit! All this happened after he ran over and crushed my Prius after I flipped him the bird.

Meowjin 05-05-2007 02:32 PM

I agree.

As for the location, you can turn right from 4 road heading south.

a shot i took today.

MikesJo 05-09-2007 11:34 PM

Nice shot. Don't like the broken light though.

[azn angel] 05-10-2007 12:37 AM

huh? what broken light?

love the car...the shot has a weird reflection on the rear right panel making the body look like it has some kinda leprosy

MikesJo 05-10-2007 01:54 AM

Not a physically broken light, but the light falling on the car.

Mananetwork 05-11-2007 12:12 AM

Mark, we have the exact same cars. HUH!

good shot.

The only problem is that all of the lighting is coming from behind the car, and not in front of it. So you are lighting the opposite side of the car that you are shooting.

The only way I can think of to really make this shot work really well, is to either shoot from the opposite side of the car (but then you dont get that background anymore, and probably some ugly street) or do two or three different exposures, and then combine them. One exposure for the background, one for the car, and one in the middle. This is called HDR, google it :)

Hmm.. that might be a good candidate for HDR. I'd like to see that.

Soundy 05-13-2007 07:41 PM

It's just the standard EXIF metadata that all digital cameras embed in JPEG files, viewed with an EXIF Viewer plugin for Firefox (I believe there's an IE version as well). There's a lot more there, too... like this from your first pic:
