:o!! R32 is elgible to be imported to BC? |
^ how come? |
I think the story about that R32 is, the owners dad has a shop which brings up cars and repairs them. The car might be registered to another model |
the R32 is a rebuild, and registered in Canada Pic for today, from Friday night drags a couple weeks ago. http://static.flickr.com/80/222703883_ffe3e5bce2_o.jpg |
^^ Why do they deflate the read tires? Does it give more traction in a straight line? |
Traction off the line. See how the sidewall twists as the car is launching? if that tire had full pressure in it would be spinning instead, and a spinning tire has less traction. You'd either have to lift off the throttle or pray for sticky tires to hook, either way your losing time |
^ interesting! I never knew that! |

Ford Focus is slowly starting to grow on me... Nice shot! |
Played around in PS quite a bit with these two shots, just trying diferent stuff. http://static.flickr.com/76/222918453_69d6c746d1_o.jpg http://static.flickr.com/71/222918461_0fcb3bb73c_o.jpg |

Some shots from a photoshoot I did a couple weeks back: http://static.flickr.com/65/223816645_a49e53be28_o.jpg http://static.flickr.com/87/223823022_921bd71feb_o.jpg http://static.flickr.com/58/223824580_729d1bb987_o.jpg |
this is like the sunset equivalent in automotive photography http://img140.imageshack.us/img140/2067/2lj6.jpg too bad i had the focus on the 'type' instead of the R |

Not intended to be an artsy shot at all. Just a cool truck (smelled like it was leaking gasoline!) that parked beside me today in Maple Ridge. Old tech & new tech. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...s/PICT2965.jpg The somewhat phallic Studebaker hood ornament: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...s/PICT2967.jpg |
coooooool.... mebbe clone yourself out :-D |
|
the art piece is nice, but it dosn't fit with the pictor. esp when it grows out of the car like some of the pics in the VIC thread. wut i've noticed a common feature in a lot of the pic posted in this thread is how the front end or bumper/headlight/hood area is not lit up very well. think car shots as portaits... and the front end is the face... if we get a side shot (tho that might be ur intention) and the face is dark, the subject isn't really portaited well... just my 2 cents. |
|
very nice... the composition, bg and subject ratio is well matched good exposure as well. too bad about that white van... |
Thank you. I wish it wasn't there, but I've come to terms with it - I'm going to print this one I think. |
