ok. to contribute, i will soon upload a photo that is just resized original without any retouch from photoshop thereby you guys can compare how much power Photoshop has over digital photography. honestly, to me, one of the main reasons i refuse to go back to film is the easily accessible retouching methods. i have few other photos of the similar shot with different White balance as well. I will post that photo as well as soon as i get home :D thanks for your comments |
http://img134.imageshack.us/img134/4...2958orgnq3.jpg this is the original of the above shot only resize + unsharp mask. as you can see i only erased a tiny bit on the back ground. |

Surprised there is only one light around the whole area that is shining on the ground. Nice location! |

and behind was a parkinglot (with it lights off) and behind the parking lot is a forest-type tree location(huh?) so yes from the angle i took the shot at, no light was visible but if i have over exposed it you could probably catch a glimpse of the background. |
I'm liking a lot of your shots hanshigi. :) I need to shoot more. I think I may have forgot how to! |

http://alibabajun.com/internet_files...ure%20566_.jpg This is the car I rented in Ireland. A brand spanking new VW Golf. It was the perfect car to have in Ireland, because my fucking gosh what an amazing road system they have. Imagine sea to sky highway without the slow drivers and the crappy surfacing. But more importantly, not a single cop, and a speed limit that you'll never have the balls to surpass! I had a perma-smile the entire time in the driver seat. Wow, what a trip. ~S |

Where do you find these old delepated houses anyways?!? love the shot. Great story to it too. Next time drive a lotus. |
hahaha the off-roading wasn't too much fun, the red-line drifting around the twisty corners--now that was fun. The car's weight distribution is perfectly balanced, so with the traction control button turned off, you can do some serious drifting. Though understeer was an issue that several times scared the crap out of me. These run down houses can be found all over Irish landscapes. Some are old barns, some are work shacks, but most are abandonned homes. I walked into dozens of them, looking for dead bodies, golden treasures, or anything else worth taking pictures of, but no such luck. Most are just dominated by various flora. http://alibabajun.com/internet_files...re%20442__.jpg Cheers, ~S PS: Hanshigi I love your work. Your two latest s2k shots are very powerful. |
Ireland seems to be a damn fine place for photography. I wanna go! |
Phasers set to Kill, lol. Yeah I know the lights in the bg are distracting. dub.dub's whip -->. http://www.sfu.ca/~mslee/images/oct0...Edit_small.jpg |
