any guild looking for a skilled mage? i'm only toc geared coz i was no longer able to raid with my guild due to time issue. i can easily out dps most mage with a lot higher gears than me ~~

quite a bit...onyxia lair and ICC...i left as ToC was introduced. Now i feel so behind...

I was gonna start the other day, but didn't feel like learning boss fights, so i guess i'll get back on WoW when the expansion comes out. Oh and if your trying to find something to do in WoW, i think the possibilities r almost unlimited...you could always farm gold for future use

What kind of DPS are guilds looking for right now? I want to start a Mage or Rogue I think, I raided as a mage at 60 and 70 for awhile, quit when LK came out. Raided as a rogue at 60 and 70 as well. I've been playing since release so I'm not an idiot. Before I quit I had upto TOC 25 cleared as a holy pally/resto shammy, quit before new content but will read up on all fights etc. Also, if someone wanted to RAF a new character to 80 quick, I've done it a few times so its stupidly fast as I know where to go for everything.

kingslayer 10man earlier this week.

I usually do around 6k to 9k I think on bosses. Really depends on what I am assign to do or what fight I am in. Everyone should be doing at elast 7k on Festergut or Rotface in 25man since well is pretty easy. On mobile fights like Professor Putricide or Blood Prince Council my dps drop as low as 4k once lol(wasn't even ready, not buff up just basically got pull in last min) On those fight I usually do around 6.5k I think.

The thing I hate about Blood Prince Council is that people always come withn my 10yard range coz they are switching to a different boss and thus making me move or blow us away form the boss. Please people don't run into other people!.

I consider myself a pretty bad dps :cry: since a rouge in the guild is constantly doing 8k to 9k on boss -_-

So it doesnt matter if I go Rogue or Mage, they are both capable of sufficient DPS to raid?

Rogue n mage dps is awesome atm, I can pull 11.9k close to 12k on saurfang and rotface

I'm starting from 0 so am hoping for a quick gear up since I'm knowledgeable and not a scrub ;)

^^ well if you can do 6.k dps or more than do apply. It depends on your class. But most likely the officer will look at your gear frist and they do want a 25man raid report to see how well you do (use ToC or ICC if you don't do 25man 10man should be fine. )

i play a rogue, and 2 of my friends in the same guild play mages

I'm looking for a guild to gear me up based on my past experience, I don't want to try and get up through pugs/fail guilds so.

^^ we don't cxarry people to gear them up. We are more of a progression guild so if you want a free ride go elsewhere.

EDIT Also, the pugs on our server is usually pretty good. At least they can get to surfang 25 with no wipes.

i'm sitting at 2200 on my rogue and DK waiting for the weapon too :D

I would consider taking an unexperienced player as being a free ride not someone whos been playing since day 1, from the sounds of it your guild doesn't seem fitting for me, thanks for the info though.
