I've been grinding everyday from 36 onwards. 1 level a day (sometimes 2 levels).

I abandoned WoW for too long... that's why I am trying to catch up. I am 44 right now. I am trying to hit 46 by Sunday so I can get some help to get the Thrash Blade haha... then it will be smooth sailing to 60.

I'm not even doing anything anymore except PVP. Monday + Tuesday = Onyxia + full MC clear and Ragnaros tries.

HKS...wanna give me some pointers for Rag? We got Rag v2.0 down to 39%...but we've only played around with new Rag a few times.

You have to be joking because WoW is sooo casual friendly compared to 90% of other MMOs. Look at Eq, that is how WoW should be.

Time sinks. The more you put in, the more rewards you should get. Not some noob who enters Dire Maul and gets almost as equal gear as MC items.

Plus the fact how there isnt any real end-game content.

werd, compared to EQ wow is like a single player game haha

what i notice in Wow, is that u never fall behind, i have ppl i've hunted with, who are much more regular players than myself but i still grab better gear and keep up with lvls easilly

playing EQ u get ppl who play alto more than u, and they are so far from your range it's not even funny, not only in experiance, but Gear as well

but this is why wow is so popular. because its not for hardcore gamers only.

and all casual players do pvp. but it doestn work that way

hardcore guys are still higher on pvp. and get into MC. casual players dont even see MC. maybe see BRD once every two weeks for about 2.5 hours before they get wiped.

there isnt any end game content. because if there was. the game would be over. and people would get bored a leave. there never will be end game content. they'll just keep adding instances and shit. and a year or two from now they'll release expansion pack with more instances and races and classes and items and shit. and it'll go on for years. like all of blizzards games.

Uh, I don't know about your server, but on mine, we have many casual-hardcore guilds entering and clearing up to Garr in MC. There are even pickup raids who can clear the trash to Luci and pickups to Onyxia's Lair who wipe.
That should NEVER happen. Pick ups in MC and Ony's Lair? What a joke.

i consider myself more than a casual player. i play like 2-4 hours a day. and i consider that way more than a casual player.

a casual player would be like.. some guy that took 6 months to get to level 60.

Got my level 46, sitting at around 240g+ now. Hondaracer still has my 50s. :p

im at lvl 47 where do you guys get quests? do you guys just grind on the same mob or go questing?

If you're level 47 then you should hang around Tanaris (Gadgetzan) for awhile. You could try Azshara but you might find the middle part of it a bit too much at your current level.

What I do now is... try to get some quests and then see which ones I can grind on. I prefer humanoid because they have less armor than beast. As a rogue, I can pick pocket humanoid and make 2 times the money from them (and potentially 3 times when they have junkbox which contains money). I can usually finish a mob in 10-20 seconds, then I have to move onto the next within 20 second so I can get a critical ambush on the next mob.

When you are 47, it's best to kill lv43-44 (or may be 45) mobs if you are melee. Why? Because 1) they have less life, 2) you deal more DPS to lower levels, 3) you get decent XP, and 4) the mobs don't damage you as much so you can basically keep chaining the mobs one after one without much down time.

I think I will stay in Ferelas till 47 or 48. I prefer grinding over doing quest. I can do 2 bars of exp in 30 minutes, last night when I had to do this quest which i have to kill a few level 47s and gather 20 items, I used 30 minutes and only got 1 bar, then I ran back to turn in the quest and got another bar. However, when I am doing that quest, I felt like I was not in control since if other level 47 mobs aggro, I am pretty sure I will die (can't vanish when they put a DoT on me). When I was killing level 41-43 last night, I could tank up to 3 mobs, and again, less down time.
