HKS, what's your Onyxia strategy?

We can get through phase 1 and 2 no problem but phase 3...the MT has no agro....and ONyxia immediately goes after people. The fire coming out of the fucking floor doesn't help either...

Uh if he's not the main tank, I dont understand why he cannot use his Arcanite Reaper? Which is basically the best non found 2h weapon in the game.

Are you more soloing or in groups/raids?
Do you want to depend on your pet? Or do as much DPS in groups as possible?

Your best bet if you are gonna be in groups/raids and want max dps is:
Beast Mastery:
[5/5] Aspect of the Hawk

Marksmanship:
[5/5] Improved Concussive Shot
[5/5] Improved Hunter's Mark
[5/5] Lethal Shots
[1/1] Aimed Shot
[5/5] Improved Serpent Sting
[1/1] Scatter Shot
[5/5] Ranged Weapon Specialization
[1/5] Hawk Eye

That should be you for lvl 42. Each level, you gain, add points to Hawk Eye until you reach 30 points in Marks, then 1 point for Aura and continue for Hawk eye.

This should leave you with 5 points at lvl 6.
You can choose between Barrage [/2] Improved Scorpid [/3] or Improved Arcane [/5]

I put my 5 in Improved Arcane but kind of wished I put 3 in there and 2 in Barrage.

Got my uber ring today...got a raid party in Org to get teh dragonslayer buff and then went and raped MC. All the way to Shazz in a couple hours with no wipes and minimal death...could've gone to Domo but people were tired by then.

Those bosses are easy enough that they're farm status now.

you spent 2 pts on improved eyes of the beast instead of AoTM???

concentrate everything in marksmenship. The only stuff i would get in beast is 5/5 AoTH and 3/3 AoTM. survival, 5/5 precision or improved raptor and 3/3 lightning reflexes.

I started a hunter...up to lvl 16...and even I know points go in Marksmanship.

And I'm poor. I just spent 800g on my epic mount. On the other side though...I skinned and won a pristine hide of the beast....500g + Orb of Deception. :D

i always use 2H. shield and 1H? fuck that. protection spec sucks shit. i would never get to senior sgt (what i am now) if i was protection. im raids, fuck tanking, get some loser warrior with a billion armor and a billion life and does 0.5DPS to do that. ill stick to mortal strike and whirlwind and overpower!

yeah, im critting for 1000+ now it rocks. plus a shield only adds like 2000ish armor. which is like nothing when a boss hits you for like 1500 each hit.
