			2.8 million HKD or CAD?
I find reality really distorted here. You can see old people begging on the streets litterally on their knees with their heads on the ground and walk a few blocks and you'll see people lining up to pick lottery for a CHANCE to buy 3mil+ CAD apartments. And people of every class mingle constantly, much more so than Vancouver I think.
But you don't see people complaining about it. Quote: Originally posted by hk20000 me in HK as well.... I have an ocean view.... in frigging Tuen Mun. HK. | LOL maybe you can give me a ride then
One day.... one day when I make enough of my own money, but before then I like to "keep it real" with the MTR
But I was mildly disappointed though with that "gong ju doh" Princess Road? I keep on hearing people say it's a place where nice cars go to speed but then it's nothing but a normal road with a few curves. Obviously they haven't driven the s2s past Pemberton!

Same story with Lung Cheung Road. It's roughly the same as before but with the amount of speed cameras (READ permanent cameras) there there aren't any more action like there used to be.
What's left is Dai Mo Shan Rd and Clear Water Bay Rd and Shek O maybe....
a few days ago some crazy biatch played too much wangan midnight maximum tune drove like 200 clicks on Tsing Yi freeway near the tunnel heading out to Mongkok and blast by me in my dad's camry lol.... the camry floated sideways by the side wind...

Thats not ghetto man! In thailand the cops looks like the village people, and drive their wives pink scooters to work and use them for duty, its kinda like you drive whatever you got ! or you'll see like 3 or 4 cops riding one scooter or motorcycle !

well it's been almost 6 months now and God do I miss vancouver..... anyone who wants to move anywhere else is INSANE! Yes, mickey mouse windows maybe cute until you get there and realise it's the size of parker place and overran by hordes of mainlanders!
I feel trapped between my home, my office and my gf's home what with the mon-sat 8a- anytime from 6-9pm work days... there's jack all to do in HK.... it's totally not my type of city.... can't wait to get back for a break in jan....
we picked something up to slightly ease my suffering yesterday though |

			I dont' get it.
you are complaining about HK, but you are showing off a Porsche
you just picked up?
seriously, if you can afford that, you sure have a lot of cash to
burn. Like you said, money can buy ANY kinda service. You just
don't know where to have fun. Good luck coming back to
vancouver, I missed vancouver when I was in hk, but once I am
back, HK is like heaven to me

After about 6 months in HK I missed Vancouver badly too. And when I came back to Van in the summer, I never wanted to go back. But in the winter when it is raining all the time, cold as fuck, and gets dark at 4pm, I start hating van again. It's a cycle

			Thanks skinnypupp
yea...... you're exactly right... you don't know what paradise is until you suddenly move to a place where they expect 12 hr days without OT or any kind of recognition..... we just picked up the car and I'm heading off to China for another work related trip (i.e not for those infamous "niceties" in Shenzhen) again.... you have the choice of burning your soul for money and never have a life left to enjoy that money or draw the line and go and "have fun" in LKF or something! but yes hopefully my plan to work my career back towards canada would workout so I can have both!
sigh... I thought about whether to post pictures or not but I decided to heck with what some may think... why is someone posting picture of their $20,000 car okay because they earned it but not okay for another guy to post picture of their car even though they earned it as well? anyway.... judge what you will of it, I don't want to get into another argument here.... one thinkg I DO find nice in HK is that ppl don't usually get in your face with judgement..... in some ways Chinese are very pragmatic I think.... you leave me alone, I leave you alone!
anyway, enjoy the pics or not you decide, sorry about the quality of the pics, I'm usuing a 4 yr old camera with a slightly scratched lens cause I'm too cheap/lazy to go get a new one..... there judge THAT! Nice car man...
RX8 is rare in HK because you have to pay the licensing fees of a 2.6 litre (Skyline, Supra, etc) for it, all because it pollutes as much as a 2.6 litre with a mere 1.3...
So since you're paying for the difference anyways, might as well get a better car
Hey, the view from your room is quite similar to mine... haha...

the owner of the site got arrested about a month ago but others are running the site. it is the best "chicken guide" ever made. however, the only fake information about the site would be the measurements and the age of the chicken.
