Probably fair better than a Chinese or any average Asian as I've come to find SOME HKers fall head over heels to kiss any ass that's white especially in the service sector...
truly sickening to me when you call up a place trying to make a reservation in Chinese you'd get told the earliest table is at 9pm when you call back later asking in english (with no accent) you'd get a table by 7...
I wanted to run the goddamn security guy over when he flung himself onto the road to my apartment to block off traffic for this white couple crossing the street....
anyway.... yea enough of my rant (I have nothing against white ppl, only the spineless dipshits who suck up to them because of their colour).... honestly you'd probably get more attention in all areas of life if you were white in HK than if you were white in Canada or the US.
And yes SE3P-T I'll be here working my ass off this summer =p
heading over to TW this weekend post pictures for you guys when I come back!

I just went back for the month of May basically... I miss it already after seeing your pics! And that is so true... how come we can't have a system like Octopus here in Canada? I feel like we're freaking cavemen after going to HK!

I might post some pics up later if I have time

Nice view btw, I spent a lot of time in Tsim Tsa Tsui when I was there too but lived in Mong Kok.

lol chun, yea vancouver seems so backwater when you compare it to HK sometime... I think one of the main reasons is we don't have the population density..... there's not enough traffic for things like octopus to make financial sense (and because there's not much of a line up to buy bus/skytrain tickets anywhere in vancouver anyway) Yea it would be nice to have something like the octopus in vancouver.... but personally I think that "backwater-ness" is what I find nice about vancouver (I want to retire to somewhere like pemberton or lillooet one day lol)... it's perfectly populated so you won't be jammed against someone like animals in a cage, and yet you still have enough entertainment venues
But I'll tell you what they DON'T have that we do.... REAL CEASER SALAD DRESSINGS! I find even the stuff at dan ryan's kinda like the weird mayonase crap chinese resturant uses...... and it appears they call SPONGE CAKES, CHEESE cakes......

Headed over to TW for my cousin's wedding, here's some pics!

lol I wouldn't go to south africa though

and yea static, at first I thought we were stuck for sure when I saw this mini tour bus coming our way on the bridge (it's probably JUST 2 car widths wide) but apparently one thing that HK drivers are good at is manuvering in small spaces
