Probably not Ray but I couldn't say no to them at $99 each. The r-comps are gonna have to wait.

Well here are some pics of the install process at the shop... (my apologies for the variety of picture sizes. Photobucket automatically resizes them...)

First thing was to remove the oil pan and prep it for installation of the bung for the oil return line.

Then it was turned over to Mike for welding it in. Nice job!

While the oil pan was being welded, out came the header to make room for the new manifold, turbo and downpipe.

We had to remove the front passenger side tow hook, grind off a flange and reweld the seam to accomodate this one section of piping for the intercooler. All the other sections fit together pretty well.

Once the manifold, turbo assembly was in place it became apparent that a heat shield was in order to protect one of the fans. Another little project for Mike!

The best part we saved for Rich! Wiring in the MPI Tuner and Turbo Module. On his knees, head under the dash, for at least 1 1/2 hours and nowhere to go as the car was up in the air on the hoist for most of the time!

Short break for some entertainment...

Then it was time to get on the dyno and see if it would run...

{Mike... "I'll get this sucker tuned if I have to stay up all night!"}

Was it all worth it? I think so...

The car will be going back to the shop for some final tuning soon. There are some rough edges to sort out and I want to be ready for the first VMSC event April 30. I'm confident that $$$$$$$$ will be able to help me do this.

Mark, again thank you for letting us be a part of this project!

Hopefully Saturday's tuning is still doing what it should! More boost and it looks like you'll be in the 200 club.
