It will be a while before QE3. Heli-Ben doesn't seem to want QE3 anytime soon. More of just lower interest rate.

Damn.. not even 15% increase in quarterly profit (1.44 billion) and raising dividend from 52 cents to 55 cents per share is causing BNS.TO share price to go up. I gotta stop watching the market today lol

I was thinking the same thing as everyone else. If I sell at 1.12, it's going to get bought out tomorrow while my shares are processing and I'll want to shoot myself. It closed at .97, should I buy in for more now or wait until it opens tomorrow?

Greek PSI deadline is March 8.

Here's the decision tree for how the shit will unfold... Bailout ain't happening if the PSI doesn't go through. Its fate will be sealed before March 20 at this rate..
Don't hold on to your horses for too long... better to take your profit now and see how this unwinds, then come back when there's less risk on the table. IMHO

I've been sitting on cash for the past few months waiting for stock prices to correct. As the equity markets continue to fall, you guys may want to look at Fairfax Holdings. The whole book is hedged.

Does anyone here sell naked puts?
If so, which broker are you using or which broker allows you to do so?

YNG is pretty cheap right now. CLL is down a bit as well but I have a hard time recommending it - I bought it with more emotion than I care to admit and am having a hard time logically defending it. If it went back up now to the $1.10-$1.11 range I would probably get out.
