Man if u missed the Malkit Singh show u missed out big time. I missed Tigerstyle but Malkit Singh knows how to entertain on the stage...awesome live performer wicked show totally packed everyone having a good time typical surrey jacks but surprisingly no scraps lol. If u missed the show chek out youtube especially when he sang kini sohni and hey jamalo.

He even threw in "olay olay olay olay she hot hot hot". nothing beats hearing malkit singh singing "she hot hot hot" LOL

Malkit killed it. Tigerstyle only did a 30 min set but it was good. half way threw the set the dropped the Crookers mix of day and night and then dropped some Major Lazer.

Everyone started booing when Nina Grewal went on stage. Here's my favorite line from her speech. " surrey has the most Sikhs in canada in the world outside of Punjab.:confused:. she gave Malkit a certificate from the government but who know what it was for. I also don't know why she was speaking English instead of Punjabi.

My rant about Grewals...her and her husband are both jokes. My parents know them very since the day they landed in Canada. Honestly no one that knew them expected them to be elected as MP's. It's really fucked up that we elect idiots like Nina Grewal who's basically a nobody in her own party and does nothing for the Punjabi community, same goes for Gurmant who did have some pull when he was in office because the cons needed the Punjabi votes but the funny thing with him now is he's always at a wedding parties going around and looking for donors for his wife. And the other funny thing is he has his son following him around so he can hold his booze and take little sips when no one's looking.

They were at my house last year.

Rumor has it his son was going to run in the federal election but got caught drinking and driving so he put up his wife.

PTC Punjabi awards 2010 aired this past weekend. The channel comes in Toronto, too bad it's not in Vancouver because it looks like a pretty good Punjabi channel. Here's some clips from it;
