FS: 2005 Rally Blue Subaru Impreza STi (UBER low clicks)

Posting for a friend, please do not pm me or anything, but contact him directly.

For sale, a 2005 Rally Blue Subaru Impreza WRX STi. The car is basically in mint condition with a curb rash on the rear right rim.

- 1387km's on the odometer (yes, barely driven since date of purchase)
- no HID's
- All stock
- car is insured with storage insurance atm
- $40000 firm, lowballers will be ignored.
- Blitz BOV (from his old 2004 sti) included for free. Note, this BOV doesn't really fit, work is needed to make it work on the 2005.
- Reason for selling, seller leaves the country a lot, and is barely here most of the year. That and he wants to buy a bike.
- vin# is jf1gd70645l518642 (clean title tho so it would be a waste of 20bucks, but if serious, go ahead and check anyways)
- Car has been babied, never driven roughly, raced, or taken to the track. Was just a daily driver for the 1387 km's.

Car NEEDS to be sold ASAP, do not bother contacting unless you have the money AT HAND and READY TO BUY. none of that, I need to sell my car first for money stuff, seller will be leaving the country again soon, he is out of the country often, thus the low clicks.
To maintain the low km's, no test drives will be given. Car is almost brand new, so it runs strong. Potential buyers can, however, go to take a look at the car, inspect it and take a look at the odometer, etc.

Car must be sold, anyone without money on hand will be ignored. please contact

To contact owner: Franky @
E-mail: frankytjin@hotmail.com or

*note*
If you are willing to commit, and have cash on hand, test driving is not an issue.
Buying the car without having a mechanic check it, buy at your own risk. As far as we know, car runs strong and smoothly from when we drove it. But there may be unknown problems because the car has been sitting around for months. If serious, seller recommends that you get bcaa or a personal mech to check the car out.

I would never fork over $42,000 for a car that can't be test driven ? Like what the hell! You almost sound rude while trying to sell the car..LOL...good luck selling it... :(

Jackwimmer 05-06-2006 04:33 PM

im sure he will if ur really serious about it
chances are u already know what to expect when u buy a car like this
i didnt test drive a car i bought till i had the money on hand out of courtesy for the owner aswell, then i bought it right after

Mentar 05-06-2006 11:57 PM

Doesn't matter, car still needs to be taken for a test drive....I wouldn't take the word of a seller when purchasing a car. You have to know what you're buying...assuming it runs perfectly is not a viable option.

DMoGX 05-07-2006 12:34 AM

rude, perhaps.. but so far most people who seem remotely interested only want a test drive, and are really not serious about buying the car. Everyone else who seem interested don't have the money on hand, which is tough, but it's easier this way than to waste his time and yours. It's a waste of the sellers time if you're just looking to test drive and really don't have the cash ready to commit if you are serious. If you will commit, then test driving is not an issue.

as for prices, please don't bother if you don't have $42k or an offer that is over 40k, it's typical for RS lowballers, but seriously, someone offered 35000 for a near brand new car with close to 1400 clicks? give me a break.. this car is 54k new after taxes, if he wanted 35000 he could have sold it to a dealership who offered him 38000.

Hey guys,

I'm the owner of the car, my friend manny told me about some guys having trouble with the test drive issue. Once you prove to me you have the money ready and your willing ot go through with the deal. I wouldn't mine driving it down to DOC SUBARU DEALERSHIP ,with the buyer there, and getting them to check it out for you. I'm not trying to be rude but I had to pay 6k a year on insurance for my SL55 with a 25% discount. I'm just worry if you test drive my suabru(insurance about 3k a year) and crash it I'm the one that gets hits by ICBC. I lose my 25% discount, goes into my driving records and my subaru car records. Anyways just wanted to clear that up thanks for your interest guys and gals.
