Still unemployed.. Maybe I'll go back and work in a grocery store.. |
I dropped my three month old computer in the ocean today, if that makes anyone else feel better about their day. |
How deep was tat part of the ocean? Really deap? or was it on the beach? |
Fairly deep, I dunno. It floated though. |
Why'd you do that? |
Clearly because I'm baller and can't think of better ways to spend money other than to throw it into the ocean. |

The transition for programmers to make PC/xbox games is none, since its the same lol ps3 needs more complicated stuff due to cell processor. In the end, will be the ps3s downfall despite its goodness. Sony needs to stop cramming shit into their play stations that don't matter. and bring back backwards compatibility those cheap bastards |
Cell isn't all that hard to program for once you know how to program it. That said, your average CS graduate doesn't have a hope in hell as you simply do not get the parallel programming experience but from what I've heard from EA execs in the past, the average CS grad has a lot of learning to do before programming any game. It's a big leap in complexity, going from single core to 6 "dumb n fast" cores in the PS3 (or 8 cores in the stuff we use at work)... but that is also where computing is headed. |
