BMW Brilliance models are actually cheaper vs their BMW itself. BMW just partnered with Brilliance so they don't have to setup factories themselves over in China to save costs yet have customization tuned for markets in China.

So you pay the same if not greater price for a BMW Brilliance so you have a badge letting others know your car was made in China by a underpaid, overworked assembly line worker vs a workers in Dingolfing, Munich or Leipzig.
