Acura SLX was a clone car of the Isuzu Trooper IIRC.

Both trucks made headlines when Consumer Reports labelled them 'not acceptable' as they had a tendency to rollover at 70mph. What is absolutely fascinating is many considered it a conspiracy to snub Japanese manufacturers as they were doing very well and overtaking the American auto manufacturers in sales.

Isuzu got so pissed with CR's findings, they created a video in defense.

and subsequently took them to court. Isuzu lost but felt vindicated they were able to get their story out at least.

Though it's not the first time a CR went after a Japanese manufacturer when they were doing very well. Suzuki fell victim as well.

This is the guy that started all the drama with VPD, right?

Fail.

I don't care if the owner beats up old ladies. That car still looks fine as wine.

So your cool with douche bag exotic car owners right?

Seriously have a nice car is one thing and being stupid is another, like my father always said "just cuz u dress like a expensive gentleman doesn't mean you are one"

welfare 10-08-2018 03:25 PM

When did i say i was cool with the owner?

welfare 10-08-2018 03:31 PM

Let me reiterate.
Even if i think the owner is a piece of shit, that doesn't mean i think the car is.

Was in town visiting family and friends for the weekend. Not even 15 minutes into the ride home from the airport and I see this. This is why I love this city!

That's what I am thinking. Dude's got some balls to drive this around with VI's everywhere.

Itasha.... so glad that embarrassment hasn’t made ground here in vancouver.

underscore 02-28-2019 08:54 AM

is that just one piece of a roof rack?

320icar 02-28-2019 09:59 AM

Oh my god you’re right! It’s just deflecting air AROUND the large wing in the rear making it utterly useless. Also the cut in the front bumper introducing turbulent air to the front tires...
