That’s one of things where on paper that car sounds awesome, but execution is awful. There a term I’m thinking of, something like “feature creep” which is where one individual part might not be so bad, but [as the owner] you can’t really step back and see the entire picture and go “oh man what have I done” I did that myself with a miata years ago. It was at a great stage, performed and looked great, but I just kept doing this and that and this and that until it was a horrible car. Ended up having to part it out and scrap because I couldn’t sell it whole edit: for brevity i'll even post old photos of my miata. stage 1 was good, wide, clean and somewhat fast with big brakes. then it all went downhill when the paint flaked off and i backyard sprayed it. wrapped it to try and recover, and then where it ended up lol Spoiler! |
