the benz E-class from late 80's got yellow headlights if I'm not mistaken.

JDM integra also has yellow headlights (or DRL) and i believe those lights are approved to be on canadian streets.

Many domestics from late 90's and even some new ones use their amber turn signal light as DRL.

^Actually, ours had one orange-ish and one yellow, until the orange-ish bulb burned out and I replaced it

So if your marker lights are being used as DRLs, then it's okay to have yellow DRLs.

If your headlights are functioning as your DRLs, then it's NOT okay to have yellow DRLs.

Clear enough now?
No not clear enough. What if your headlights(highbeam at 40%) are amber and they also blink in conjunction with the amber corner marker signals?

During the night my lowbeams are on and highbeam drl's go off. Lowbeams are the oem 4300k color.
