I haven't gone to Playland in several years, but the Coaster alone is worth the price of admission. It doesn't look fancy like those coasters you see at Six Flags, but it's pretty fun. It's been designated as one of the world's 21 best coasters - you can't beat that.

2 yrs ago, we kicked out a bunch of old asian ladies who only go there to collect pop cans...

i haven't gone yet and i don't know if i'll have time. maybe i'll just go to fright night haha

anyone know how long the line ups are for opening day? half n hour? 1 hour?

I went last year opening day during the 9-12 free entry time slot. Arrived at 11:45 and walked right in with no lineup. Since it's free during those times and there's no need to stop and buy or show your tickets the flow of traffic is constant. Even afterwards when you do have to pay the line ups are never really longer then a few minutes.

Hope weather is ok i'll be walking over in a bit. Should be good times.
