If I were you, I would buy a cheaper car instead. Maybe a older used BMW? an Accord? Mazda 3? Save your parents half the money as well.

Get a '91 nsx (think they're 30-40K) and convert the hood to look like the new 02 and up NSXs with the non popup headlights. Then you'll be "$$$$$traight ballin'" my man!!!! And to boot, not a car every other asian has.

G35s are like everywhere now, they're just no longer striking. Given the choice I'd go for an A3 or an A4 cabrio.

the car burns a bit of oil but for $900 a car I'll just keep adding oil every other week..
the clutch is still original and I'm almost up to 310,000 km now.. if its a bit wet out the clutch still grabs hard enough to break the wheels loose if I do a hard shift into 3rd :D

So far you're the only person that's drawn a parallel between the Skyline GTR and the Skyline 350GT... just because they've put a Skyline badge on the back and tried to race you doesn't mean they think it's a GTR, it means they think they're car is faster.

Type S baging type R for instance when both cars are tottaly different, engine , weight etc. 350GT Skyline is diff from ur regular G35 engine.

As for as my GTR goes I have rebuilt the engine with N1 Turbos, bored it out to 2.7 L with oversized WE RODS and JE pistons, pon pon cams and tomei valve springs etc. N1 fuel , water pumps N1 oil pump.

No one said the G35/Skyline 350GT is the GT-R.....
G35 ppl think it's stupid to put GT-R on a G35 too.
The G35 runs just as fast as a stock R32 GT-R if not not faster.

They also did a test on BM which the R32 GT-R came last after the 350GT.
