Just over 271,000km, and still being driven. I bought the car with 221,000km, and an impeccable maintainence record. The previous owner religiously serviced the car at Park Shore BMW in Burnaby, and if the VIN is provided to a BMW dealership, they could pull the records. The previous owner had owned the car for 10 years, and it was bought in Vancouver as a lease return. The car was originally purchased at "Vancouver Auto LTD." which has since been renamed to "The BMW Store."
3.6L Inline Six - 315hp. Running the Dinan chip (I believe dinan, that's which brand the previous owner recalled it was. It is verified to be chipped though.) On paper the chips promise 340hp +/-
If you're at all informed on these cars, you will already know about this engine. I've been very strict on warming it up properly, allowing the start up emissions control fan to finish its cycle before I drive away. After that, I won't break 3000 rpm until the oil temp gauge is well cleared 70 degrees.
The car since I've had it has been maintained regularly at Island Motorsport here in Victoria. They're a very reputable shop in town here, and I would definitely reccomend them to the next owner.
For prospective buyers in vancouver, the car has passed aircare all the way up until I purchased it. I have not had it tested since then, but I am sure it will pass.

Things it will need to be perfect:
Hood struts are a little squirrely if a good breeze catches it. Would recommend them to be done in the future if I don't do them myself.
Trunk struts, same sort of thing, I believe both are the originals.
There is a small portion of the drivers side bolster which has begun to unstitch itself, on the seam.
The "intensive wash" doesn't work properly. I know there are some connections that aren't properly made, and I couldnt care less due to us being in Victoria. I can't justify the repair to my headlight and foglight sprayers.
The Body itself is in great condition. I am very specific about my cars, and as such I can tell you of the flaws. The rear passengers and drivers doors both have some tiny dings in them from parking lot injury. I acquired the car with these, and the owner said he recieved the dings from a careless bitch who parked next to him. The hood has a strange indent on it, very very small, and looks like it could be easily removed, but it is currently there. The paint is in great shape, and as I used to be a detailer, it has been washed and waxed regularly. Of course as a black car, it will require the same attention from the next owner to keep it looking well. Original paint, with no panels that have ever been repainted.
I've tried my best to explain it in the best details, I am a BMW enthusiast, and my reason for selling is due to having recently purchased an E46 M3 cab. My needs have shifted a little, and I really need something suitable to take my dogs in. I am 100% open to trades, or trades+cash. I would consider my car +cash for something that really interests me. I've had my eyes set on an SUV of sorts - x5 4.4, denali, 540it, something more practical for me. This is the best car I've ever owned, and it will be very easy to tell that it has been well taken care of. If there are any questions, please feel free to PM me, or send me an email at
