Telus/Bell/Rogers/Fido dead zones??? I tried searching for this before, but kinda forgot. I was curious cause i'm with Rogers right now, and since number portability is coming on March 14th I might be switching providers. I've noticed that I get like 3-5 dropped calls everyday now with my Blackberry when I never had that problem before. I called in about it and got it looked into. But it wasn't related to my phone, it was the network. But I know that there are some dead zones with each of the providers. Wanna share and list them? Rogers -41st ave & 49 ave areas around main or something Telus -Fleetwood area in Surrey (162nd Street - 176 Street area around Fraser Highway) Bell -Same as above |

Maybe it was Victoria or something........ crap |
Victoria drive closer to the Fraserview area has ALWAYS been a problem because it's on a hill. There are no cell sites that can provide the area with coverage and I think each and every provider's got a problem there. You can thank your friendly neighborhood protester. |
^ lol he knows everything |
fido - between 144th and 152nd on 72nd ave in surrey around the cemetery |
Hey Mike, do you know if there're any problems with reception in the Capitol Hill area of North Burnaby (more specifically near the intersection of Dundas & Howard). I live in the basement suite of a house near there (I know, I know, basement) and sometimes have connection problems even with my W810. |
use a quad brand phone for better reception hehe Fido dead zone: near Langara |
Telus dead zone: Austin Ave/Hickey (Coquitlam) |
My room from my desk to the end of my bed. No joke. True Story. drops my calls like fuckin' flies....wait that's not even a proper term...oh well! =D |
