Those who are in Kelowna.. Any contractors/dry-wallers/electricians/plumbers you can recommend?
I just bought a townhouse up in Glenmore (by the IGA), and am looking for people to help with finishing the basement!
(Pics of my pad will come shortly.. I just took posession on Friday.. :D )

MudScene Glenmore?

girlcrazy_420 05-07-2009 10:17 AM

Few new things today. Entire house is getting new sub floors and carpet, landscaper is putting in grass and removing tree stumps, Shaw came this morning for TV, internet and phone than this afternoon the leather couches are getting delivered. The AC got installed three days ago and the landlord is sending shell tommarro to fix the copper oil lines for the furnace. Very busy week for us.

girlcrazy_420 05-08-2009 10:29 PM

Went for a crawl under the house and looks as if all the water from the shower and sink drains directly into our basemeny. Stupid broken water lines. That would explain all the mushrooms and fungi growing down there.

4x4scene - glenmore

Interest rates right now are very appealing.

VERY VERY appealing!

SmokeyTheBandit 05-11-2009 09:02 PM

whats even more appealing is when the house is paid off! :D

then you get a nice line of credit @ prime rate

down_hill_dog 05-12-2009 10:11 PM

We don't make money like you oh ballerith' one. So that won't happen for a while :p lol

See i'd love to buy a house right now with the market the way it is.. But to be honest, growing up on an acreage in a large house.. I'm going to have a hard time living anywhere else, and I know i'd still be up at my pops house tooling around on whatever anyways.. The house is paid off, Its only me and him so we split all the bills/ repairs and all is well..

Picked up a 51" Sony rear projection tv yesterday with the help of Danny. Got it from some rich family in the rose valley area for $150.

I'll have a 54" rear projection to unload in a while when I upgrade to a flat panel. Still trying to convince myself that I don't need to spend a fortune on an LED TV.

Iceman-19 07-01-2009 09:41 PM

$100 bucks? :D

zumvette 07-02-2009 01:45 PM

Now don't start making revving noises and BOV sounds after you let go of the button!
