Here's a little tidbit from the old days.....
The thread is in the Spam Bin, but here are a few bits. Btw, it's titled "feminists". Quote: Originally posted by IntegraBoi I swear one day that the feminist will rule the world and we(males) will all be kicking ourselves in the arse. | Quote: Originally posted by hypa That will never happen.
Why?
Because there are 10 times more women who are interested in buying pretty clothes and their hair than those who actually follow politics, and would want to be in power. Looking at the numbers, dependant women outnumber the independant ones at least 10:1. You can see it everyday you pass a schoolyard or mall.
Not only that, but the world is still run by men. In many cases the men who run the world come from nations that hold women in very low regard. Look at the middle east when women are considered property.
I say let the feminists think they're making a difference.
Most of them aren't intelligent enough to know otherwise anyway.
What's another term for independant woman?
Lonely, single, bitchy, etc..... | Quote: Originally posted by RevSceneGirl25 Ahhh...the RS pig is back! yay for hypa living up to his reputation! | Quote: Originally posted by hypa Above is a prime example of an independant woman.
Isn't it time for you to binge and purge? | now she's hitting below the belt Quote: Originally posted by RevSceneGirl25 If this is your definition, I guess I can't be considered "independent".
However, I hope you teach your daughter the valuable lesson that she shouldn't try to stand up for her gender when faced with piggish comments, because she might then grow up to be an independent woman someday! Horrors! | Quote: Originally posted by RevSceneGirl25 I don't understand what this is a reference to. | Quote: Originally posted by hypa
[B]ouch, you caught my mistake.
touche!
My little girl will be taught not to "stick up" for her gender, but to stick up for herself. Why should she stick up for all of the women when many of them don't deserve it? You don't see me sticking up for a man just because he is a man, do you?
How many times have you dealt with a woman whose only goal in life is to be pretty?
How many women do you know that make you cringe when you hear them speak, because the words that come out are bred from ignorance?
My aunt is one of the most powerful lawyers in Canada. She is revered, and feared by men in the courtroom and the boardroom. I respect her because she didn't waste her time crying out "Women are people too! Respect Women! Equality!". She worked hard and acheived her goals without equal opportunity or lowered standards. She earned a man's job in a man's market, and that is the kind of woman I want my daughter to become. Not one who fights to have the firefighter standards changed because women are physically weaker than men (example: http://www.bucknellconservatives.org...es/allison.htm or http://tspweb02.tsp.utexas.edu/webar...01_female.html or my favorite example http://www.shethinks.org/articles/an00161.cfm).
You are a strong woman and I've seen glimmers of intelligence in the past. It doesn't mean that all women are strong though, nor does it mean that all women deserve my respect. I respect those who respect themselves.
cheers. |

oh shit son.... Quote: Originally posted by hypa impactX, Mr. Platinum VIP.....
why not head over to the VLS side with the other little girls and tell them your feelings about Mac cosmetics, and how your heart was broken in high school, while the big boys talk about cars over here.
You're nothing more than a scared little boy who would be lost without his mommy and dad, and their Visa platinum card which akes it all possible. Now run along and leave us "real" car guys alone, so you can get back to playing your GT3 with Hyde. Since you are now on the same level as him in my mind, and the minds of a few other mods around here.
what's this?
Your first positive experience wirth a woman?
Damn...... you wouldn't know what to do with one.
Unless of course, your mom was there to help..... |
and Chooman getting involved is very rare...

This, in my books, is one of the best from hypa: Quote: Originally posted by hypa Thanks for reminding me about the VLS Angels, especially that clown "revscenegirl25".

Like, older than the first RS food drive, when Integraboi got pissed off at everyone making fun of his altezzas. Good eats at the A&W, and good times.
Good to see you're around. I could have sworn I saw the account "Jace" was listed as guest. Quote: Originally posted by Chooman It happens from time to time. I've become calmer in my old age. hypa: I'm here, but not as frequently as I want to be. Full-time graduate school takes up most of my life now, but every chance I get i try to check in.
Turbo_E: Yeah, Skinnypup was not the one; we unfortunately pointed the finger at him. I personally apologized to him for the accusation. And that is behind us now.
Oh god, I remember one time when I subtlely changed REVscene.net to SARScene.net on like april fools and Choo and !SG got instant mass msn messages. lol
Oh and TypeV winning best JDM at ImportJam. Anyone there for that? Or how about the haunted house on 41st where people went in and took pictures??

infact, the "JDM scene" was barely sprouting at that time so there probably wasn't a JDM category yet.
