Michael Moore's Sicko: 9/10
I highly recommend this to any Canadian. While Michael Moore's movies might be sensationalized somewhat and biased in its own ways, and you might not even like him, the points he brings up in the movie are real and valid truths that American's face every single day - especially those who are just breaking into society (the young and educated). It puts into perspective the difference between the medical coverage that Canadians enjoy without a second thought, and the corruption and tragic reality that hundreds of millions of our neighbours realize when it comes time to pay their medical bills. Many Americans THINK they're covered until insurance companies deny them a bail out and they have to sell their homes to pay off medical expenses. If you thought being in debt in Vancouver is bad, take a look at some of these bills.

Resident Evil 3D - 1/10
Man I wanted to walk out so bad. Dull acting, stupid plot, and weakass CG. The only thing going for it was the 3D.

Machete - 7/10
Mindless action, classic one-liners, and Jessica Alba side-boob... excellent way to spend a couple of hours.

Bad Lieutenant: Port of call new Orleans : 8.5-9/10
Great Movie. prob one of the best ive seen in the last year (and no, i refuse to see avatar, so dont bring that up) one of nicholas cage's best performances in a while. interesting story, good character development, mix of comedy/action/drama. highly recommend it
Killshot: 7.5/10
another decent, somewhat unknown movie. a lot of celebs: mickey rourke, diane lane, thomas jane, gordon joseph levitt. unique plot, enough action/drama to keep you entertained and wanting to know what happens next. a few spots where the story is slow, but overall a decent movie to watch. and a canadian movie to boot.
