It was much better than I was expecting given Tarsem Singhs history (visually nice pieces but bland stories)

I think i enjoyed it more than I normally would because it was just a welcome change to what I was watching on the plane


also watched an HK comedy about the end of the world in 2012 cant remember the name wasn't horrible either

Pitch Perfect... um.. low expectatio but the singing was pretty impressive.... that rebel wilson is pretty hilarious too. 8/10

The Big Year 6.5/10. Didn't have any expectations of this movie at all and it was a nice one to sit down and watch with family.

Battleship - 5/10 - the whole movie I kept commenting on how everything is stupid.

Fright Night - 7.5/10. A lot better than I had expected. It's a pretty good remake of the classic.

The girl who played snow white is nowhere near as 'fair' as the queen

By the time the movie got to the dwarves part, you pretty much know exactly what is going to happen line for line, so it's just a matter of waiting for the movie to end. Lame

The expendables 2 - 8/10 + 1 (because chuck norris)

full blast action, and a couple of funny scenes
was kinda expecting more, but good enough.

its a 2010/11 film with great actors and director but it just felt really lacking and lot of subplots were just forgotten; quite a shame as it had the potential to be stellar
