GLOW 10-10-2014 11:44 AM

haywire 7/10 - story not that great but i enjoyed the fight scenes. plus carano :sweetjesus:

Chef - 8.5/10. Not sure about the whole "foodie" message at the end, but the food omg. Pretty good (if not standard) character development.

Gone Girl - 6.5/10. I had some really high expectations as this was a Fincher film. Great first half. Borderline excellent. But the ending was real BS. And the movie was 30 mins too long. Basically the last quarter/third was a throw-away imo.

edge of tomorrow
8.5/10

pleasantly surprised...i understand it's based on a manga but i related it to groundhog day so the first bit of the movie is quite comical...the last 20 minutes was kinda weak

Verdasco 10-11-2014 11:17 AM

time of eve

a japanese animation about androids breaking the rules in the near distant future. They act like humans in downtime.

9/10. really good movie

moody 10-13-2014 12:16 AM

Gone girl 8.5/10
It was a good thriller with a twist, very suspenseful and disturbing. I actually stayed awake through out the entire movie. There are a few holes in the plot, but what movies have no hick ups

nabs 10-13-2014 12:21 AM

The Reluctant Fundamentalist 10/10

Anabelle 7/10

rsx 10-13-2014 12:51 AM

Automata - 7/10
I liked it. It's a very bleak look at the near future.

JSALES 10-13-2014 12:50 PM

The Maze Runner

7/10

pastarocket 10-13-2014 02:50 PM

The Equalizer 8/10.

-movie scenes start out slow but the action ramps up pretty quick.

Denzel Washington's acting saves this film.

Revenge of the Green Dragons
movie had help from Martin Scor. directed by honger family gangster film director.

8/10

Finally got the time to watch the documentary Fed up (2014).
9/10

Very informative, shocking eye opener. It is f-ing scary how much sugar is in our "low far" packaged food, and every thing else. I have always wondered about the nutritional table, how most things such as fat, sodium, etc mention how much % of daily intake is present per serving.... sugar is not included because of sugar companies' lobbying.

The Equalizer 7.5/10

knight604 10-14-2014 10:33 AM

a walk among tombstone 6/10
lucy 3/10
justice league 6/10
edge of tomorrow 7.5/10

dashosh 10-14-2014 10:36 AM

The Shawshank Redemption lol :-D Finally watched it. 10/10

If something new one it is Neighbors, really good comedy! 8/10

604STIG 10-15-2014 02:42 PM

Dracula Untold 7.5/10

Got taken to see it, thinking "great, another dracula movie" Turned out decent, not what I was expecting.

StylinRed 10-15-2014 05:13 PM

Transformers Age of Extinction, finally saw it....and I was checking the time the whole time waiting for it to be over...the blu-ray looks fantastic, the chick is hot, but everything else stunk...it could have been good imo if they dialed back the length of the action sequences and used that time to develop the story, which would have vastly improved the overall package

as it stands though 4/10

also i thought people were exaggerating about the hong kong scenes but :lol it was bad

Armind 10-16-2014 12:52 AM

Gave Revenge of the Green Dragons a watch.

8/10 :notbad:

LMAO when the guy says SURPRISE MUTHAFUCKA :lawl:

Lomac 10-16-2014 05:32 PM

The Prince.

A well deserved 0/10.

When you have a movie with heavy hitters like John Cusack and Bruce Willis, but 50 Fucking Cent is your best actor, you have a problem.

Terrible dialogue, horrible acting, poorly directed, bad camera work, etc., etc.,

I think the only crew to actually show up and even attempt to do their job were the makeup artists. Sadly, I'm not kidding.

What a waste of two hours.

fuhkyu 10-17-2014 07:38 AM

Gone Girl

8.5/10

Ending had me saying wtf as I walked out of the theatre.

David Fincher delivered once again.

pinn3r 10-17-2014 05:50 PM

Dracula Untold 8/10

pretty badass. Luke Evans was the perfect guy for Dracula
some plot holes and obviously deviates from the original story, but if you just go in without any expectations you won't be disappointed

StylinRed 10-17-2014 09:26 PM

State of Emergency, zombie flick on Netflix was surprisingly good

9/10

in case you get excited be warned that there's not an onslaught of zombies but like i said surprisingly good

The Art of Getting by

9+ out of ten, I don't know why im not giving it a 10. but I really loved this movie. Maybe because i felt I related to it a lot. Reminded me of myself when I was that age.

Not a foreign film buff but this was one of the best films I've ever seen. Working in VFX I get tired of seeing explosions, CGI and shitty acting in general. I found myself enjoying the plot, dialogue and casting so much that I literally didn't want the movie to end. Puts a good smile on your face and Ludovico Einaudi does a lot of the score. It's based on a true story as well so it leaves you with that corny warm feeling inside too :awesom:

someone posted this as well a couple pages before you. I've had it on my list as one of the movies to watch and finally watched it.

Great movie! I had a a lot of people tell me it was awesome and it lived up to my expectations. something very different than what you are use to and superb acting. easily a solid 9/10,

xnammerboiii 10-18-2014 09:48 PM
