Paths of Glory

An oldie, 1957, Kubrick witty indictment of war.

You can change the flies but it's still the same pile of shit.

Due Date - 7/10
There were a few laugh out loud funny parts, but I thought it was 'meh' overall. I swear Zach Galfinakis plays the same character in every movie he's in.

I didn't really get much of the movie.

It was alright but it certainly wasn't a 9/10 for me.

For me, 6/10

Over the weekend I decided to re-watch Batman Begins and The Dark Knight. Both get a solid 8.5-9/10.

Then I watched The Machinist. Seeing Christian Bale at around 120 lbs was disgusting. He just looked so broken and helpless, but the movie was great. 8/10.

^ I know, when I read he bulked up to around 225 afterwards I was blown away. Besides Terminator 4, he's proving to be one of my new found favourite actors.

house at the end of the street 3/10

it was so fuckin bad i don't even know where to begin
- actors spoke too fast at times, sounded awkward and unnatural
- predictable cheap scares & loud noises
- plot was absurd

don't watch

End of watch - 8.5/10
Solid movie, in the beginning i wasn't feeling it because of the camera work but in the end it makes it feel so real. Left with an eerie feeling that what I just saw was 100% real, made me really paranoid. Awesome story line and build up.

Hotel Transylvania - 6/10
Don't know why I watched it. Just one of those movies that isn't really memorable, more just went to go watch it to hangout rather than enjoy the movie.

Trouble with the curve - 6.5/10
Same as above. Extra 0.5 because I hate baseball yet somehow still sat through the movie

0/10 (+10 points for Tom Cruise insanity)

I actually feel angry that I wasted 2 hours watching this fucking piece of shit. What a fucking stupid god damn fucking movie.

Looper 8/10.

Not as mindblowing awesome as the reviews make it out to me.. but that's just me. Maybe I hyped it up too much for myself...
