The Purge 7/10

Even though the movie was pretty predictable, I still enjoyed it.

i agree. 5/10 or lower

typical american patriotic bullshit, fight scenes with predictable outcomes, over done cgi, cheesy dramatics

and this was your villain

haha. he did an ok job. but i just laughed everytime he was on screen

what i thought was decent at least-the father son dynamic

at least with a movie like iron man, theres humour. robert downey jr is a cocky funny asshole who does well

The scenes with Kevin Costner were AWESOME... The scenes with Russell Crow were AWESOME. They should make a movie that is just about Superman's dads

Actually a movie about Jor El on Krypton would probably be really cool, unless all he did before this was study stuff... he seems pretty badass though, so he must have had some adventures

Also it was neat seeing the pub just down the road from where I grew up... If you were wondering where Superman smashed up that guy's truck: http://goo.gl/maps/Rc7h8

A little bit too much brand placement for my liking. Could've been a bit more condensed and left some mystery, but they showed EVERYTHING. The actress that played lois lane didn't suit the part either.
6/10

I really wanted to like it.

The Interns - 9.5/10. Haven't laughed that hard in a while. For anyone who is about to see it, there are more Flashdance, and other great 80's movie references it woudn't even be funny if you haven't seen them.

Man of Steel 3D - 7.5/10

english subs are available.
great twist of events, great acting... decent script... ending was a tad weak but heck, it's a China movie..

StarTrek... it was good from a non-trekkie point of view. Lots of action. Next up is WWZ on Tuesday. Hope it lives up to the hype.

D-box seats for this movie were awesome.

Without D-box probably 6.5-7/10

Agreed on the ending. Very cliche amongst almost all Chinese gangster flicks. Gets an 8/10 for me. Superb change of events during the entire film. Almost made it look like they wanted to cut the ending short.
