Insidious 2 7/10 - had its moments that startled you but no as good as the first one Pain & Gain 8/10 - Entertaining throughout. As someone mentioned typical The Rock acting, but Whalberg is usually pretty good in his movies Battlefield 8/10 - Pretty good action throughout with decent effects. The girlfriend is pretty hot so a + for that! Posted via RS Mobile |
Prisoners 9/10 One of the best thrillers I've seen. Excellent directing, and subtle nuances that add immensely to the suspense. |
Pee Mak Phra Khanong 10/10 if not 11/10 Great Comedy. I havent seen a comedy that got me laughing to tears for a longgg time. |
Prisoner 9/10. I can rarely sit through a movie longer than 1.5 hours and stay interested. I thought I was going to have a heart attack at certain times. Jake Gyllenhaal is such a dreamboat, and thats coming from a straight man. |
Prisoners 8.5/10 Not baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad |
Escape from planet earth. 8/10 Pretty funny and cute exceeded my expectation Posted via RS Mobile |

^I felt like his tats were kind of pointless and almost out of place... I mean aside from the cross but even then... Like they seem as if they were purely added for style, don't really add to his character.. like his tats aren't making me think "watch out we got a badass over here" and they're not making me think "wow this guy is really religious". maybe I just don't understand though... don't really see why he was wearing that ring either. |
To those who just watched prisoners, did you prefer Zodiac or Prisoners. Not that they are exactly the same, but they do have similar vibes throughout the films. |

We're the Millers 7/10. Hilarious for the most part. |
^^ just finished watching that movie as well... Pretty lame indeed. IMDB gave it a decent rating too. |
rush 10/10 hearing all those f1 cars revving in the beginning won me over :awwyeah: |
Brokeback Mountain. 9.5/10 Decided to watch it again. Got teary eyed. |

RUSH 8.5/10, lot more drama than I expected!:fullofwin: |
Metallica: Through The Never Undecided / 10 I honestly don't know how to rate this "movie." It's about 2/3's concert flick, 1/3'rd something else. I was at the concert they filmed this at, and I absolutely loved reliving that show. Everyone in the Imax theatre was singing along to the songs. However, the attempts at drawing the parallel between what was going on in the concert (shit breaking, people getting hurt, etc) and the outside world of Vancouver felt a little forced. Pretty sure they filmed all those outdoor scenes simply because Vancouver had a riot a couple years ago. Many of the shots seemed like they just ripped off the news station lol. All that said, if you're a Metallica fan, I recommend you check it out. If nothing else, it's a great concert show. For those of you who don't know wtf I'm talking about: |
Prisoners (7/10) I thought it was predictable but overall still enjoyable. Rush (9/10) Awesome movie, captivating from start to finish. You didn't have to be an F1/car racing fan to enjoy it. -KC |
Pacific Rim (What did I just watch/10) |
Jurassic Park 10/10 'nuff said. |

Big lebowski 10/10 The 30th time I've seen the movie probably, and its just as funny as the first. If you haven't seen it and like awkward situational humour as opposed to Will Ferrell punchline 5 year old comedy, give it a watch. |
RUSH 8.5/10. -better acting and dramatic scenes that I expected. -Great scenes of Formula 1 racing. Ron Howard does a fine job as director. This is one slick, racing machine! :fullofwin: |
