War of the Worlds (2005) - 2/10
Everyone was so whiny and obnoxious. The special effects were ok tho.
I've now made it my life's mission to drown Dakota Fanning in a puddle of urine.

I hate it how they put the volume so loud... the only scary part is when they make everything very quiet (makes it even more obvious that a loud scream is coming up) then a loud scream, lol. It's SO loud it hurts. Only other scary part was maybe the freaky grandma appearing everywhere...

If she had done each of these things once during the movie I could accept that. I could over look it because the rest of the movie was cinematically well done and it was a good modernization of the story.
But this was every time she was on screen. She ruined every moment she was on camera.

War of the Worlds just bombed, absolutely terrible movie. You wouldn't be able to think of one good scene in that movie.
Terrible. Actually, I hate that movie.
