Everest: 9/10 - Great action after the initial slow start. Must watch on IMAX 3D
Insidious 3: 7/10 - Moderately scary. Not quite up to The Conjuring level but it was worth the watch.

Kinda surprised at all the praise everest is receiving, mind you I didn't see it in Imax so maybe that's my fault.

The story to me was fine, not exceptional, I guess I can't ask for much else since it was based on a real story.

The part that bothered me was the fact that during the beginning you are briefly introduced to a huge cast of like 20 people, and just around the time you start figuring out the characters, they put on all their gear and masks and then I couldn't tell in a lot of parts who the characters in the scene were.

Maybe I am just stupid though (extremely likely).

Either way 7/10 for me, for non-Imax viewing.

Black Mass: 7.5/10
It was a good movie but I felt there were a lot of scenes that were pointlessly longer than they needed to be. Not by a lot, but when added all together it adds up, the pace of the movie would have been much better. Otherwise I would have given the movie a 8-8.5

San Andreas

4/10

Predictable summer action movie with some decent F/X, and flat, boring characters. Waste of bandwidth.

There was something artful about that scene, passion. Something you can't get with a typical JAV girl getting choded out by 20 fat, middle aged guys. No matter how cute or hot, when she is taking that much dick, it's kind of

Softcore porn leaves something to the imagination for me.

IMAX was alright, but it wouldn't have saved Everest from it's flaw.

Too many people, hard to follow once the faces were covered with gear or snow, minimal character development. When "shit hits the fan", it was rather anti-climatic when compared to other disaster movies based on true stories.

I didn't know anything about this event prior to the movie so I jumped in cold without spoilers.
Spoiler!

The movie felt like it prioritized quantity over quality, and it made sure to include a brief honourable mention to all the climbers, rather than to focus on a specific group and display the emotions they were going through.

6/10.

It looked fantastic in IMAX. I don't recommend seeing it unless you like seeing stupid people doing masochistic things.

damn that shit was corny. can't expect too much from a series that caters to tweens

the protagonist makes me cringe... he's so flat and full of shit

two thumbs up for the hot blonde though
