is anything even recorded with a center rear channel? because if it just mixed the rear right and left for a center that'd sound wierd.

Mine is pretty simple but gets the job done

32in Sony Bravia
JVC 5.1 Digital receiver
Athena 5.1 setup (just the small speakers)
Xbox running XBMC and networked with my computer.. I got the HD pack so everything is upconverted to 720p and then digital sound to the receiver..

I currently have a 52" sony bravia lcd in my family room, downstairs I have a draper 140" screen with a Sony projector and just got custom cabinet done last month. I'm thinking about having the cabinet painted darker and I'm waiting for the smoked windows for the cabinet..

Here's a crappy pic from my phone;

Thanks.

I'm currently running a VPL-HS20 which is great but doesn't have 1080p. I've ordered the VPLVW60 from a friend who works at Sony which I should have in the next week or so.

That looks really good, nice setup. I wish I had a larger room so I could do something more like that, it's a much cleaner look. My next house I want high ceilings and a room about 50% bigger then what I currently have.

I have a friend who has a home with a basement that has as much footage as my 3 storey house, 1/3 of which is a media room. I don't know if I'll ever have anything like that but seriously it gives me something to work towards.

Thanks, I like your setup as well.

I wish I had a higher ceiling because the 200" inch screens are bloody amazing but the issue is always the overall space of the room. You need tons of room so you're not straining your eyes.

Beautiful setup Jah. What speakers/amp/recievers/sub you running?
