Canadian Tire on Cambie and 7th Auto Service Centre is looking for tire installers.

Duties for tire installers will include tire mount/dismount, wheel balancing and other light duties.

F/T position and P/T position are available.

Yes, being an installer and based on how you work, the Shop foreman will determine whether you have the potential of being an apprentice.

If you're good you'll get signed up. It's a great starting point.

what's the "usual" starting wage at a place like CT?

That can be discussed with the Service Manager but I would imagine something around $9ish.

are they willing to just hire for part-time weekends?

Yup, for sure, feel free to drop off your resume personally to the Service Manager or the Shop Foreman.
