Wow....that hatch is pretty hardcore. Oh well...whatever floats yer boat right.... Well I open vented my BOV. Definatly a bit louder but nothing special. Sounds like the TurboXS did but about 90% quieter. It'll do for now though. :D Cannot wait to get a good Clutch disc and PP in there, but I am rethinking the light flywheel as the other day when I gave it about 50% throttle in 1st it got to redline so stupidly fast that I figure the stock flywheel is fine and I don't need it reving that fast. :P later -Justin |
lol you vented ur BOV ur such a pussy wouldn't do it saturday;) But yeah 2 bad you couldn't have dropped ur car off like 1 hour ago just dropped mine off for the 3rd clutch on the car but this is number four cause number 3 was faulty very messed up anyway should have gone in for a 2 for one deal or something;) you know upgrade the turbo while ur there andyway just another couple days with out my car:( |

oh yeah i don't do that although you may;) No its the 3rd clucth for this car only owned it for about 6 months now so not my fault plus when i bought it always slipped. |
Hey...when I bought her Jeff's mom always slipped then I fexed it...then Justin and Justin got ahold of her and rode her all day pounding away on her with a high RPM and wore her out completely..... Bah god damn the other thread got closed. Anyways since it was never answered I guess I'll post it on how a 1.3L rotary can spool a t88 since there may be some that would like to know. It has nothing to do with its displacement but rather its exhaust cycle consistancy. We talked displacement before how each face is rated at 654cc vs say a B16 with 1.6L engine has say 400cc per cylinder. When we talk about power pulses we're talking only on one side of the rotor, but in reality if you picture it, as the rotor face fires and runs off for its exhaust stroke the previous face is already on its power ready for its exhaust. So really there is a constant supply of exhaust flying out of the peripheral port and hitting the hot wheel of the turbo. Thats 654cc each face consistantly hitting the turbo for spool up. Times that all by two since theres 2 rotors in a 13b and you have something with enough exhaust energy to spool pretty much anything. Rotary 101 |
