Hey guys it's been a while since I've come here. Do any of you know of an FC for sale? For cheap? Maybe a blown motor victim or the like. I might be looking into a new project ;) Thanks guys.

I know of one. But its a total package project car. As in it needs body work like Paint and a few dents fixed, plus the motor is fried as well. Could probably get it dirt dirt cheap. I will talk to the guy at work today and see what his price is for it. Its an 87 GX, primered for now, blue interior.

I'm talking cheap. Body work and engine stuff doesn't bother me, I can take care of that myself. Its going to be another drift car, so ya, cheap is the key. The corolla is quickly becoming much more expensive than anticipated. To be quite honest, I'm not comfortable tossing around a car that I have a lot invested in, it unnerves me.

Thanks Justin :)

I tend to stay away from dealerships anyway, but if it was in town, I would have had a look.

Thanks James.

I was looking at that T2 in Nanaimo last weekend. They have 3-4 RX7s there, whats with that? Mostly 3rd gens.

for one: the driverside door is rusted,..
for 2.. it is a stolen recovery, then rebuilt, from Vancouver
for 3.. he couldn't tell me a thing it had done to it
and finally when i asked him to have a look in either car (red FD).. he said he only would if i had $20,000 to put down on the table in front of him.. So, i think he is a cocky, shady mo-fo.
But thats my own opinion. And i know i'm not alone on it.

Reasoning for the 3 FD's.. he races them. or 'So' it is said..

No prob. I talked to him at work today but did not really get a price. He is on RS so he can PM you or something. Its definatly a good car for a project if thats what you want. :D

Actually he also restores FD's that are salvagable I beleive. And yes he does race FD's as well.

t0mmy 01-31-2004 06:41 PM

Him an ass? Yeah. The car itself is worth the cash though. 3800$ for a TII with minor driver door rust seems like a good deal. Even if the engine was shot, thats another 2g on top, 5800$ for a rebuilt TII quite a bit lower than most out there for sale. Thats assuming its shot, which it isn't.

I am ordering mine on monday.I'm looking at about $700CDN seeing as thier site says $500US. :) I will get pics of it install when it gets here.Maybe I can talk them into a promo deal.:)

bcty 01-31-2004 10:52 PM

bowmen is a pretty decent guy.. he gets lots of punk fuckers tryin to come in after F&TF tryin to buy the 3rd gen.. so obvioulsy if you had the money to buy it you would throw it down and take the car for a boot and wouldnt mind.. its a nice car i went for a good boot in it.. he races them and restores them.. he buys them wrecked.. and hasnt wrecked his yet.. just a bent rim so far.. anyways a bit of door rust is no big dealo.. and he has exhaust and i believe an intake or then that its stock..
