Haha yeah I was fkin exhausted. I was doing pretty close to speed limit and got passed by absolutely everything. SUVs, minivans, RVs, you name it. It was bad haha.

And get this - the minute I parked my bike when I got to Whistler, some guy comes out of the Husky and walks up to me - "were you doing 300kph?" :lol

G-spec 04-29-2012 06:06 PM

you guys got any recommendations for a good honest reliable Ducati shop where you can get your basic services done like oil changes, checkups etc ??

CharlieH 04-29-2012 06:43 PM

^

apparently Alfie at Imperial is one of the best Duc techs in BC

rk604 04-29-2012 06:50 PM

Yeah he's a good guy...he reset my service light for free just cause he remembered that my bike was service there by the previous owner. No questions asked, he even spent sometime talking and giving me some advice. Good guy!

Imperial charges $96 an hour and has a good mech like mentioned above.

Ducati-BMW dealership charges $106 or $116 an hour.

Mspeed just had one of their mechs go through Ducati mech training at the Ducati Canada headquarters (I think on the east coast some where) and charges $85 an hour.

I've taken my business to Mspeed for most oil changes, although they can be done on ducs by anyone as it's a pretty general task, which you can get done at pretty much any shop.

Things like valve checks, I would only hand it off to certified/experienced Ducati mechs though.

Dave & Darcy have a dyno @ their shop - Cypress Motorbike in Delta. I take my SR500 there and they've dyno tuned it.

DIY. Best satisfaction by working on your own bike.
