Couldn't really hear, sorry. You were already at a full stop and I was riding my bicycle the other direction with the wind at full speed. :okay:

Sick ride though! :D

Shes home now!

Man what can I say. Going from a 250 to 750 was a gigantic jump, im actually scared shitless of this beast of a machine, im going to just ride as if i dont know anything and take it real real slow, 750 power and weight is a whole different game. I got it yesterday after work and since i first rode it and felt the pure grunt (honestly felt too powerful for me but i have to suck it up)! Even thinking now my hands get sweaty :okay:

It has a drive mode selector and i put it to C mode today which on the manual says cuts the power in half. SO MUCH MORE MANAGEABLE! So im just going to work my way up the modes, considering how fast C mode still goes its probably gonna be awhile LOL. If anyone wants to ride, maybe show me the ropes, etc, just give me a pm.

You'll get used the power and remember, you're supposed to grip the tank with your knees. It'll help stable you under hard acceleration.

i remember that feeling of explosive acceleration when i first got my gixxer 750. i just rode one yesterday home for my friend and redline in 2nd gear felt slow as shit lolol

NLY 07-04-2012 11:18 PM

Spoiler!

Congrats on the beautiful new bike!

I made the same transition from 250cc to 750cc and the difference was monumental! Just be careful with the throttle because that much power can be unforgiving, especially with minimal contact patch!

Dont wanna start a stupid thread so after i install my HIDs ill take a pic for this forum. So far I did a DIY fender eliminator, and no cut sliders. My question is for the HID what bulb size am I? (2010 gsxr 750) Im really confused cause ive googled it and the few guides i saw use h7, but 1 guide used h11. All the guides are for k8 (08-10) which is why im confused as hell. The service manual says the bulb is h11 and the high beams use hb3, which confuses me even more cause the youtube videos all use h7 for both high and low beams.

Lastly anyone have HID hook ups? Otherwise I was planning to buy from super garage in aberdeen.

I would follow the owner's manual or service manual if you have it on hand. HID's are pretty cheap, any will do, just get the slim ballasts so you can easily mount it. Price wise your only gonna see a difference of a few bucks here and there. I went bayside and paid a bit more so i could go to an actual place incase they crap out

Klobbersaurus 07-15-2012 05:24 PM

its an H11 bulb you need

yelnats8 07-20-2012 07:29 PM

Sold it a few days ago and currently in the market for a newer fuel injected bike.
