The difference in torque is amazing isn't it? it's so addicting

and over taking on the highway is a cinch, no downshifting required. Bike's more stable too at higher speeds no?

^That is the damaged bike when it was still in california. The picture on my phone is the same picture. I guess because the above pic is larger, really shows the damage clearly. Brandon?

It's damaged to that extent due to the estimated speed of 170kph the highside occurred. It felt like riding a rodeo bull. I was literally thrown maybe 15ft into the air, I had enough time to react to put my arms in right before smashing into the asphalt. Then being ragdolled another 150ft or so. Didn't want to break my wrists at that speed.

Thank you to good invested gear was I able to walk away with no broken bones. But I do have rehab ahead of me for my shoulder.

Should be an R6 for next season. 08 and up. Know anyone selling??

Nope, I've done most of the work myself, other than the paint job on the wheels.

It can when the bike starts to tumble from a slide

so im guessing when he started slipping he started letting go of the gas which stopped the slide and it caught?

Yup most of the time is just natural reflex. When you slide your mind automatically tells your hand to stop giving gas....by then you just hope for a lowside but if not then the bike will flick you off so fast that you'll be flying up in the air and hitting on the ground before you even know it.

When you say "stop giving gas", do you mean going to no throttle at all? Would simply reducing the amount of throttle be OK in a turn?

No throttle at all... so acceleration hard through corner, slide and then chopping the throttle off...

it could also happen by a rear brake causing a skid and then letting the pedal off while leaning of course....

There is just a lot of possibility to make the bike rear end slide and to retain grip again causing a hinge where it regain traction while the bike is already sideways, rotates and throws you off..it depends the inertia too by how high your going to fly up in the air after it flicks you off... when the shock compresses and loads up, then decompresses it throws the rider into the air
