Its easier the faster you go, the bike is more stable. You're more prone to laying it down doing that in a parking lot. The feedback from the input at low speeds is quicker and makes the bike much more twitchy.

A s1000rr laid it down when I was there, it was quite the spectacle to see!

I'm assuming mastery at slow speeds can only mean better at higher speeds?

I can't wait to do a track day of some sort when I'm less poor, feels bauss.

Bike shopping this week for a newer bike

Any input on

Gsxr vs cbr vs r6?

My first bike was gsxr 750 and i loved it, was an older bulky model though looking to slim down

Looking to get another 750 or 600,
I dnt plan to track it or anything at least not anytime soon haha.
Just for casual daily this summer!

gixxer if its 06+

they went through a huge change when the k6 was introduced. much better ergonomics, lowest seating position, much comfier than the competition IMO.

What do you like about your R6 over the GSX-R?

yeah i guess it really depends on the rider's body shape too. i'm 5'10 165lbs, and the gix fit me perfectly. i found the r6's seat to be too wide, which made it really uncomfortable to sit on.

I'd love to try the r6 on the track, but for city riding its probably a little more comfortable than the 748/886/889.

the way the ergo's were for me didn't work out that great.

I love my Gixxer 750, I m thinking of lowering it on links if I'm going to keep it... I am in-seam challenged and short so I'm thinking that or a smaller bike.

It's going to completely mess up the geometry of your bike if you do, if you can afford to keep it the way it is I would my friend.
It'll only result in bad handling, the one thing it's engineered to do.

Unfortunately dealers don't have control over what they pay the local suppliers. Tires are always cheaper when sourced from the states.
