Uh. House premiered in 2004. It's 2009. They're on season 5.

penner2k 04-07-2009 02:45 PM

oh shit you're right.. I must have been in my "24" folder when looking at season numbers.. lol

Last nights episode was just weird. It almost seems like something happened unrelated to the show and he either quit or got fired..

As per my awesome celebrity websites.

Kal Penn has left House to go work for that other famous house.

The White House that is!

Kal, who said he's always aspired to a career in politics, asked to leave the show after working on Obama's campaign, even though he loves acting.

Approaching executive producers David Shore and Katie Jacobs, Penn expressed his desire far in advance, which allowed the writers to craft his exit in an organic way - with a sudden, inexplicable suicide!

In regards to his new job, Penn said he'll be "the associate director in the White House office of public liaison. They do outreach with the American public and with different organizations. They're basically the front door of the White House. They take out all of the red tape that falls between the general public and the White House."

As far as approaching David and Katie, Kal "remembers David saying, "Are you telling me that you're unhappy with the show and that you want to leave so you can go off and do a different show?" And I was like, "Not at all. I'm actually saying the exact opposite, which is I'm having an incredible time, but there's something aching in me to do something completely different and take a break from the acting thing for a while." And with their blessing, we were able to work it out."

Kal, however, did not expect the suicide, and found it "incredibly violent and incredibly depressing thing that happens to my character," but calls his departure "bittersweet."

just a typical real estate investor, jumping from house to house to house

literally lol

Death2Theft 04-24-2009 07:33 PM

Anyone know where to get a copy of episode 22 a house divided season 5? Can't find any torrents for it, global doesn't have it up and the american sites wont let me watch it :(

Lomac 05-06-2009 02:26 PM

Wow. I'm surprised there's no comments regarding the last episode. What do you all think of Cuddy/House's and Cameron/Chase's turn of events?

wouwou 05-06-2009 02:49 PM

You meant Huddy?

SkinnyPupp 05-06-2009 08:02 PM

Huddy?

Anyway, I think they handled the Cuddy/House relationship, that everyone knew was going to happen, exceedingly well. As far as Cameron/Chase, I really don't give a shit about either of those characters. Maybe because I only started watching House midway through the season where they were fired/quit.

urrh 05-12-2009 12:58 AM

wow! should have watched tonights ep instead of that travesty of a hockey game.
i totally didn't see that last twist coming.
and alien hand syndrome; coolest affliction this season!

6insomnia9 05-12-2009 01:03 AM

Tonight episode was like.. WOAH. WTF?

TOPEC 05-12-2009 02:39 AM

would someone like to explain to me what happened? i havnt been watchign all eps but i managed to catch tonights last ep.

so apparently house is going pyscho somehow? or did the pills made him do that?
if he had a mental disorder, then did him and cuddy actually had sex?
and the baby cuddy's holding in the end. is it houses?

im so fking confused lol.

urrh 05-12-2009 04:04 AM

^ how about throwing up some spoiler warnings...?
and what did you think was going to happen when you watch a season finale without watching episodes leading up to it?

TOPEC 05-12-2009 04:21 AM

sorry abt not using spoiler tags, but everyone seems to be talking abt the final ep already.
and i didnt watch the whole season, just a few here and there.

way2quik 05-12-2009 08:41 AM

^ I can't believe I read that.
Lets hope I forget. I'm just beginning Season 5

SkinnyPupp 05-12-2009 08:56 AM

Why would you read a House thread, right after the season finale of House, when you haven't been watching the current season of House?
