the place looks whack from the outside but the food was pretty decent at a very good price.
huge piece of sashimi, as far as I could tell, were pretty fresh

^it was ok for what it is... its asian food made by white people, what can you expect.
also, their spiciness level is off the charts.
if you ask for medium spiciness, it'll be fucking hot even by indian or mexican standards. lol

Romano's Pizza on Granville. The quality of their pizza's rivals that of Megabite but Romano's is only $1.5 a slice! I like Megabite's more, but this place is very close 2nd. 9/10.

Best cheap pizza in the city (to me) has to be Uncle Fatih's on Broadway & Commercial.

Yep, good place, also FM Classic in Downtown.

Megabite use to be good until they began consistently increasing the prices, while skimping on the toppings.

Hapa Izakaya Yaletown

9/10

Usually the service at Izakaya's are lacking, but they went beyond what was needed last night. Excellent service and good food and drinks.

I don't understand all the rave reviews of Uncle' Faitihs, maybe its because I alway go @ the wrong time and get old/stale pizzas lol.

Kobe Steakhouse

ok, i donno where else to post this, but i'll give this a shot...

i had dinner tonight at the kobe steakhouse and had a great experience there. food was fantastic, experience and atmosphere were unique, and a lot of eye candy Overall i would rate it as the following.

food 8.5/10
atmosphere 7/10
overall 8/10

anyways, there was this one waitress there that was taking the drink orders and she was especially beautiful. she was asian, and any normal guy would think she is attractive. anyways, this is a long shot, but does anybody know this girl and would be willing to introduce me to her? Can't get her outta my mind right now haha (does anybody get this sort of feeling sometimes or is it just me). thinkin back, i should've manned up and talked to her, but i guess destiny will just have to play it's course.

to be continued i hope...

Crave's for dinner tonight! Great food (a little salty), attentive service. 9/10

Ceasar Salad, and Poutine. The poutine had real gravy with pulled short rib, and a side of Foie Gras Mayo. Very rich and tasty!

gf had sundried tomato & basil meat loaf:

I had the marinated sablefish with roasted asparagus, fingerling potatoes & soya-truffle dressing. Seriously yummy!
