Would love to see In-N-Out burgers here.... |
I've never been to a Carl's jr before but this makes me want to try it. |
Carl's Jr. is officially opened in Vancouver this morning on the corner of Dunsmuir and Howe. Has anyone tried it yet? How's the quality compared to the states? Price? |
ive been to the one in chilliwack. its actually not that great and a bit pricy. the fries are to die for though. FIVE GUYS still tops MY list |

Five Guys is pretty dope too, but this is about Carl's Jr. So take your Five Guys talk elsewhere. :) |

Well within my lunch area... can't make it there today, but I'm gonna go tomorrow! |
Hmm this is within walking distance from my work.....:woot2: |
soooo I went to Carl's Jr last night, and it was amazing. Having lived in California for a few years, this was the MAJOR burger chain that I missed soo badly... but it's ridiculously expensive here.... I bought 4 burgers, the bill ended up being over $28 taxes included. It's retarded because the Six Dollar Burger (which costs much less than $6 in the states) is renamed to the Thickburger, and all of them cost more than $6. I got the Portabello Mushroom "Thickburger" and it was $7.18 for JUST THE BURGER. BEFORE TAX But on the box, it says "Six Dollar Burger" I am pretty sure that I was the first person who ordered the Chili Cheeseburger because it's not on the menu, the cashier didn't know what I was talking about, and then she finally saw it on her system, lol Then a whole bunch of managers all gathered together as they were making it, lol Overall, REALLY GOOD, but freaking $$$ compared to the normal prices in the states |
I've been to the one at Seattle Premium a couple times. And the one in Chilliwack once. I don't really understand the hype. It's just another fast food chain. And I'm pretty sure the burgers are pre-made and frozen. I've hit up 5 Guys a couple times and the beef is beef. It's juicy and has a proper crust. That's what makes the burger, and the condiments at 5 Guys aren't bad either. Except the bacon. It could be thicker cut. Am I missing something here? :okay: |
I've searched everywhere but is there a CANADIAN version of their website which lists the prices? |

Tried it over the weekend. Hella filling and satisfying. :fullofwin: |

Why is this so surprising? It's the same with most US fast food chains. Pizza Hut and KFC, for example, charges way more in Asia than they do here and the states. |
Being from California as well..I really missed this place. Do they have the zuchinni with the buttermilk dipping sauce? |
Being from Cali, you guys should miss In N Out. :P |
