Maybe I'm cheap. But fast food nowadays is ridiculously priced. $10+ for a combo, you won't see me as a customer. IT'S BLOODY FAST FOOD!!

In the 21st century, Fast food does not mean cheap food (unless you are in the states). McDonald's began that notion years ago when they adjusted their portion size in line with the Canadian Food Guide, while increasing prices at 3-4x the rate of our national inflation.

For $10/meal, there are many better and healthier options out there.

I bought 4 burgers, the bill ended up being over $28 taxes included.

It's retarded because the Six Dollar Burger (which costs much less than $6 in the states) is renamed to the Thickburger, and all of them cost more than $6. I got the Portabello Mushroom "Thickburger" and it was $7.18 for JUST THE BURGER.

BEFORE TAX

But on the box, it says "Six Dollar Burger"

I am pretty sure that I was the first person who ordered the Chili Cheeseburger because it's not on the menu, the cashier didn't know what I was talking about, and then she finally saw it on her system, lol

Then a whole bunch of managers all gathered together as they were making it, lol

Overall, REALLY GOOD, but freaking $$$ compared to the normal prices in the states
Which one was better? The Chilli or the Mushroom burger?

My office building is right beside it, so had to give it a try. I tried the mushroom burger and it tasted great. For $10+ though, that was my first and last time there. There are just way too many other healthier options out there.

Both were really good
My favorite is usually the Chili but since it was their first time making it, they had little chili for my tastes.

The mushroom was also really good

If I had to grade it this time it would be Mushroom 9/10, Chili 8/10

Normally it's the other way around for me.

Tried the THICK Mushroom burger and it was good but a little salty. Overall it was just okay...nothing special IMO, I'd rather hit up Five Guys OR Splitz!

Tried Splitz the other day and it was fan-fucking tastic!

If and when you ever get a chance, try the one in Whistler. I find that it's better but westopher says he had an equal experience in Vancouver, but only when the owner Trevor is working.

Forget region to region... they can differ from store to store.

I had the "Carl" burger with fries and pop. Holy crap was everthing HUGE. The burger tasted great but I basically didn't even touch the fries, had a couple just to try. I could do with smaller more reasonable portions if it meant that the prices would come down a bit. Overall, good food but mucho $$$ for a burger joint.
