Crest White Strips

I almost suckered myself into buying a pack of these not realizing that they cost a whopping $45-$50. The question is, do they actually work? Are they worth the buy? Anyone have experiences with them?

Thanks in advance.

They work pretty well. Better than a cleaning appointment at the dentist's althought they're after different things. I tried the 1 week one I think and it was noticeably whiter and imo it was pretty worth it :)

brush your teeth and u will be fine , get crest vivid white, i use that stuff and it jsut works as well as the whtie strips. Unless u can get them on sale for a good deal no point

SkinnyPupp 06-03-2008 08:58 PM

They work very well, but if you have a 'wide' smile, they will only whiten the front 4 or 5 teeth, and you'll have a yellow-white-yellow smile :lol

If you have sensitive teeth (ie: sensitive to coldness) don't use these whitening stripes. It will make your tooth ache even worse for couple of months after use.

If you do have sensitive teeth, I recommend brushing with Sensodyne for a few days before trying these out. They do work. Don't use it if you have crooked teeth.

A trade secret for models(men & women)is to brush their teeth with comet,it makes your teeth sparkling white, just make sure you only brush where your teeth can be seen and don't swallow any of it.

^What's comet? This ??? http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedi...etcleanser.jpg

That seems fucking dangerous lol :O

Just talked to a dentist friend of mine. He reccomends to his patients to use the crest white strips if they want whiter teeth first before considering lasering.

I was curious about this a couple days ago too..

twitchyzero 01-25-2009 08:59 AM

Well for starters..if you have tooth sensitivity stay away from whitening products. It'll just make it worse.

LC21 01-25-2009 12:01 PM

GOGOGO anyone?!

+1 plus white strips and other products like it are bad for your gums. I just use sonicare everyday and my teeth are nice, white and clean.

s3an 01-25-2009 07:55 PM

it works, but it just hurts and tastes like crap.

miss604si 01-27-2009 05:31 PM

I have the professional ones that you buy from the dentist. They don't taste every good. It's a little time consuming as well, but it does work. My teeth are noticeably whiter than when I first started.

Tooth sensitivity is definitely a downside. It hasn't been too bad for me, but I've heard of people that buy them and then stop using them because of that.

The professional ones are stronger than the ones that you buy in the store, so I don't know how well those the store-bought ones work.

iam_dan 01-27-2009 06:57 PM

ive used the pro package, twice now.
it works very well for me.

my teeth becomes a little bit sensitive after about half a week. it isnt a big deal to me though, because its not enough to be bothersome.

LC21 01-28-2009 03:44 PM
