Not for excessive speeding at 41-60km/hr over the posted speed limit.

2 fines for excessive speed...$368 for 41-60k over the limit, $483 for 61 plus over. It is possible to drop a $483 excessive to $368 and still be excessive. If it goes below 40 k over then it can go down to $196 or $138.

Was just saying that in the original poster's case, he cannot ask for a lower fine on the excessive speed charge unless the officer agrees to have him plead guilty to speeding 21-40km/hr over the limit and canceling the Excessive Speed charge.

Got me..

And bui95 thinks he's not trying to get out of anything. He's trying to get out of paying the full fine... same as trying to get out of the ticket he's got, just trying to get into a different one.

I guess common sense ain't so common.
